Katherine Heigl has opened up about growing up living in "a White bubble." The actress also discusses how that realization has affected the parenting style of her adopted children that are multiracial. In an interview with actress Katherine Heigl, who plays "Firefly Lane" actress, along with "Grey's Anatomy" actress shared that her appearance didn't concern her. However, when having a conversation with her adoptive sister from South Korea about how society was treating them, she became conscious of the differences the two were. "I wanted to know Meg what she thought about being that she was treated differently when going out with our parents and those who went out alone. She replied "Oh, yes, every time!" Heigl admitted to parents, "That made me realise how foolish I was." Her anger grew, and she decided to make use of her anger to support her two adopted daughters. Heigl has a four-year old son with her 13-year spouse, Josh Kelley. Their daughter was adopted by them Nancy Leigh, 12, from South Korea in 2009 and Adalaide 8 years old who is Black from South Korea in 2012.
