Elizabeth Andrea Bitsie Tulloch (born January 19, 1981) was an American actor. She is known for her performances as the character Juliette Silverton/Eve on Grimm on the NBC television series Grimm and as Lois Lane in The CWArrowverse shows including the television series Superman & Lois. Tulloch grew up between Spain Uruguay Argentina and San Diego California. Tulloch is referred to as Bitsie but it's not an abbreviation for her initial name Elizabeth. The name is in reference to a nickname that was given by her grandfather during World War II who also was involved in Goldsboro B52, a crash. Tulloch's acting career began with her being given the moniker Bitsie. The nickname remained in use until the year 2017, when Tulloch decided to use Elizabeth. Like I've always been since I was a child, I still use Bitsie when speaking to anyone. When I first started out as an actor, I would introduce myself to people as Bitsie. In my 30s, and I feel as though for reasons of billing I wanted to go back to Elizabeth. It was actually not something I had thought of. The subject was Elizabeth whom the film's producer was able to spot while filling in legal documents. What do you think about this billing method? After I had a moment to contemplate the issue, I called up my agent and my manager. Both agreed. Now that you are old enough, you should get on with your life. And Bitsie is evidently a kind of cute name. It's adorable. It was all the words that were spoken. Then I will not introduce myself to you as Elizabeth. Billing is the only reason for this. Tulloch originates from Scottish as well as Spanish heritage. Tulloch claims her belief that Spanish was her first one, yet she's not fluent. Her paternal grandparents hail from Renfrewshire as does her grandfather's. Her ancestors originate from Kirkwall within Scotland. In an article for BBC News, she stated that they believe the Tullochs first arrived in the US around 1880. And the Kerrs did so in the middle of the century. After her return in America in 1880, U.S. in 1880, Tulloch attended Bedford New York's Middle and High Schools. Tulloch is an Harvard University graduate with two majors: English and American Literature and Environmental and Visual Studies.
